Published: June 17, 2019

On June 2, 2019, Professors Norbert Frei (Friedrich-Schiller-Universität Jena) and David Kim (University of California, Los Angeles) engaged in a conversation at the Thomas Mann House in Pacific Palisades. The discussion was based on Professor Frei’s lecture, which examined Thomas Mann’s critical view of the latest development in postwar German denazification. The event was co-sponsored by the Thomas Mann House, the Department of Germanic Languages at UCLA, and the USC Libraries.
